Come along to our photo sessions to dust off your camera and get snap-happy with a professional photography instructor.

Brush up on your camera skills and learn new photography techniques whilst on a photo walk class with other local keen photographers!

We run two hour photography sessions based on a photography theme/technique/style and they take place in various locations in Berkshire .

  • New to photography? We also run a popular 3 hour Beginners Guide to Photography Class once a month. And once in a while we will run special niche 3 hour classes, for example, Astrophotography - so do subscribe to our newsletter to know when the next on is!

  • Who can attend? Open to all skill levels, from beginners to keen amateurs. The photography instructor is there to help you with camera settings and provide any advice you need.

  • What to bring? We recommend bringing a camera that has full manual mode or semi-manual modes (Aperture or Shutter Priority). Compact cameras and smartphones also welcome!

The meeting point and full details for the day are sent in the booking confirmation email to the email address you provide at time of booking.

Muhammad introduced us to Harris Gardens, which was new to us all. He was very 'engaging' and explained the exposure triangle, rule of thirds and considerations for composing photographs. The two hours passed very quickly and were very enjoyable.

Great to be shown how to compose photos, using the 'Rule of Thirds'. Also using manual mode only, causing you to think more about composition.

A relaxed, informative class that offered excellent value for money. The tutor was friendly, approachable, and clearly very knowledgeable about photography, explaining things in an accessible and engaging way. The location was ideal, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the time genuinely flew by. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to develop their photography skills in an enjoyable, low-pressure setting.

It was a slow start as only two of us attended and no model was available. However the energy and enthusiasm from our tutor was immense. We did manage to find a model who happened to be walking through the Abbey ruins with her own photographer and we asked if we could join them and they agreed. This is where our tutor came into her own, her direction and attention to detail was outstanding . She was keen to view the images we had taken and provide support for further development . I think we were luck to have her presence as a tutor .

This photo was taken on my Sony Xperia 1 iii smartphone at Virginia Water Pavilion Lake. After a long walk around I managed to be at the perfect spot to capture the golden hour at 18:40 on 5 September 3023. I took this shot to represent happy times with your loved ones. I edited the shot slightly with lightroom to increase the white balance and bring out those gorgeous colours. After a busy period at work this was just what I needed.

This image is a Still Life Composition of "Berries, Wine and Grapes" that I created on a rainy day in my bedroom. I used no fancy Studio Lighting at all. My only light source was a hand-held flashlight that I kept moving rapidly. It was an experiment in Light Painting when I couldn't go outside to shoot.
